The CaPSS parenting support program is funded by the Australian Government aimed to strengthen family relationships, reduce family breakdown, and increase family connection to and participation in community activities.CaPSS Practitioners work alongside parents enabling and empowering them to identify their parenting needs and to create opportunities for change through the use of practical evidence based parenting strategies.

CaPSS works with families who have children from birth to 12 years old and who live within our service areas.CaPSS has some capacity and flexibility to work with parents and adolescent children, up to the age of 18 years, where there are younger children in the family.CaPSS is not a clinical or therapeutic  service and does not undertake assessments of a parent’s  capacity to fulfil their parenting role.
