Climate Society and Justice Task Group are pleased to bring “Regenerating Australia” community film, followed by great discussions with local legends from the Pacific Islands.

Learn about climate solutions and sustainable change through transformative best practices to build a cleaner, fairer and prosperous future to regenerate Australia and the Pacific Islands.
In being open to be changed, we can be transformed by the wisdom and experience of others. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to listen from a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country’s future through Damon Gameau’s new short film, followed by conversations with local panellists from the Pacific Islands who will share their own stories on how climate change is impacting their communities and environment.
It’s not only about what is going on, but what we can do together to regenerate our world.

‘Regenerating Australia’ is a 17 minutes short documentary film by Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film).
Featuring Kerry O’Brien, Sandra Sully, Tim Flannery, Larissa Behrendt, David Pocock and other well-known voices, the film is based on a four-month ‘listening campaign’.
It is a new story for our nation: a story of empowerment. A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.

The Justice Task Group operates under the umbrella of Crossroads Werribee Uniting Church. It meets monthly at the Community Centre, Heathglen Village, 2 Glendale Court, Werribee or in private residences.
Agenda includes First Nations, Global Warming, and Asylum seeker concerns. New members are welcome.
Climate Society is a social enterprise that was born in 2014 in Melbourne, Australia. Its mission is to decarbonise our society.
They are dedicated to helping communities and organisation to thrive in a zero carbon world and adapt the unavoidable climate change impacts. They believe that everybody can make a contribution, and that the actions taken today will allow future generations to enjoy a hospitable planet full of biodiversity.
